I break Ceramic tiles for fun. I managed to get through breaking a 5 tiles at one go, a mean feat if I say so myself, There were all these long strips of useless tiles lying about so i decided to try breaking them with bare hands, and man they are not easy when you first begin, you need the technique, The technique is, don't care about hurting your hand, just plough through, easy as pie, of course you'll need muscles to break them too. :D
